Wavve Boating climbs 35 spots in its second consecutive year on the national ranking

September 25, 2026 – Kingston, Ontario – Wavve Boating, a Canadian-built marine navigation app, today announced it has ranked Number 62 on the 2026 Report on Business magazine ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, marking its second consecutive year on the list.
Produced by the Globe and Mail, Canada’s Top Growing Companies ranks Canadian companies based on three-year revenue growth. Wavve Boating earned its place on the 2026 list with three-year growth of 443%, up from 358% last year.
“This recognition for a second consecutive year means a lot to us because it’s another data point that shows what we know already: that listening to our customers and truly getting in their boat is working for us,” said Adam Allore, President of Wavve Boating. “Our team is relentless about understanding what people need from us, whether that’s in the way we design the app, build new features, or support our community.”
“Time on the water is precious. For hundreds of thousands of boaters, those are the weekends, vacations, and moments with family and friends they look forward to all year. We want Wavve to make getting there easier, so people can make the most out of those moments. That’s what has driven our growth so far, and it’s what will continue to drive where we go next.”

The recognition follows another year of growth and product development for Wavve Boating. Over the past year, boaters using Wavve have calculated and completed more than 400,000 AutoRoutes, using the app to plan trips and navigate waterways across Canada, the United States, Australia and beyond.
Wavve has also continued to expand the capabilities of its navigation platform, introducing wind overlays, an Apple Watch App, and improved offline-saving capabilities, while expanding chart coverage across hundreds of new waterways, including many popular inland lakes.
Canada’s Top Growing Companies is an editorial ranking launched in 2019 to celebrate the achievements of innovative businesses in Canada. To qualify for this program, companies complete an in-depth application process and meet revenue requirements. In total, 375 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking.
The full list of 2026 winners, along with editorial coverage, is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine and online here.
